What Island Estate Clearing does
Clearing the contents of a property, identifying and selling what carries resale value, cleaning and preparing the house once it is empty, and running downsizing moves into smaller homes and care residences. Most estates need some combination, and combining them removes the scheduling problem an executor would otherwise own.
Who this is for
Executors, family members, owners downsizing on their own terms, and the notaries, lawyers and care homes who are standing next to someone at the moment the question comes up. A referring professional needs to know the work will be done carefully and recorded properly, and that is what the written scope and written summary are for.
Working with out-of-province executors
A large share of these estates are administered from elsewhere in Canada. Photographs, video walk-throughs and written confirmations replace being there, and no part of the job requires the executor to travel.

The service area is the whole Island. Most of the work concentrates in Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Nanaimo and Ladysmith and the communities around them; a property further afield is arranged rather than turned away.
